AegisSAN LX F630Q supports VMware vSphere 5 VAAI (vStorage APIs for Array Integration), Citrix and Hyper-V for highly virtualized environments. With VAAI certification, the disk array can offload server and network loading, speed up provisioning of new virtual machines and increase VM density.
AegisSAN LX F630Q features QThin, the thin provisioning function to provide more physical resources than actually available capacity so that IT administrators can avoid allocated but unused storage and purchase only the disk capacity they actually need to significantly raise storage utilization and to save cost.

The dual active controllers plus fully redundant and hot-swappable designs make AegisSAN LX F630Q series system a highly available system. It offers multiple paths and load balancing features such as MPIO, MC/S, Trunking, and LACP to better ensure the reliability.
Fibre Channel Interface

AegisSAN LX F630Q system features fcQiSOE (Qsan hardware FC offload engine), which adopts a dedicated CPU core to process FC packet. With fcQiSOE, the IOPS performance will be three times faster.
Thin Provisioning
AegisSAN LX F630Q delivers thin provisioning to provide more physical resources than actually available capacity so that organizations can avoid allocated but unused storage and be able to purchase only the disk capacity they actually need. Therefore, thin provisioning feature can significantly raise storage utilization and help enterprises to save cost.
Data protection and backup solutions play an important role in storage systems. QSnap the snapshot feature is a very cost-efficient application to protect valuable business data. A snapshot primarily creates a point-in-time copy of the data and with Qsan's "copy-on-write" technique QSnap only copies the changed data instead of copying whole data so as to be highly space efficient. QReplica is the remote replication tool that deploy full data copies across storage systems at different sites through LAN or WAN. In addition, QReplica supports to replica multiple logical volumes in one system at one time.
